The programme runs over 6–7 months, depending on workplace scheduling and learner pace

There are 6 learning modules and assessments, each typically covered month by month:

* Intro to a Culture of Continuous Improvement (CI), 5S, and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs)

* Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

* Product, Process & Waste Reduction

* Quality Control and Assurance

* Changeover Efficiency

* Change, Apply, Improve and Sustain

This a blended delivery model (4 workshops online, 2 face-to-face at the workplace)

Note: If you prefer all sessions to be delivered in person, this can be arranged for an additional fee per module.

On average, learners should expect to commit 1.5 to 2 hours per month for formal education and 3 hours for on job application of learning.

Graduates earn the New Zealand Certificate in Competitive Systems and Practices (Level 3) – a nationally recognised NZQA qualification

This qualification is designed for people working in industries with repeatable processes, including manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, food production, and healthcare, who want to build skills in continuous improvement, lean and problem solving.

Assessment is workplace-based. Learners complete practical improvement projects and apply learning directly in their roles. Evidence is gathered through assessments aligned to the 6 modules.
